For this purpose, there is the decoding of the product formula, or reverse engineering of chemical compositions, in other words – deformulation of materials and products.


Deformulation of the chemical composition provides specific information about the composition of the decoded products and the interaction of these components. Formulation helps identify which chemicals, substances, or materials are included in the product. This can be as difficult a task as the development of a new product, since composite compositions of drugs can contain dozens of components of different chemical nature.

Although product formulation development is a long process, we can handle it in much less time than it usually takes in other institutions. Since we carry out development only on the basis of an existing sample, and not the development of a new product "from scratch", all possible stages and difficulties are known in advance. If we do not take into account the terms of delivery of raw materials for the experimental sample, then development in general takes no more than 2 months, in some complex cases - up to 3-4 months. Developing a product from scratch would take years and a huge amount of resources

The cost of deforming and development in our company is approximately from 1.5 to 4 thousand euros in equivalent. At first glance, this is a significant amount, but if you compare it with foreign prices (for example, in Turkiye, the development costs $15,000 without transferring the "know-how" of the recipe to the client, in the USA, the cost of development starts at $8,000 for basic inspection indicators), these are some of the most affordable prices in the world.

Inspection of an original product
  • You send us a sample of the original product, or we buy it on your behalf.
  • We conduct a preliminary study to determine the product examination plan, the scheme of the scientific study, its cost and timing. Preliminary research is absolutely free!
  • After completing the preliminary research, we are ready to provide you with a commercial proposal.
Chemical examination
  • As part of scientific chemical expertise, we identify the full list of components that make up the product you provide.
  • Our scientific-intellectual and instrumental resources allow us to identify most of the ingredients, establish the correspondence between the physico-chemical parameters of the raw materials and the consumer qualities of the product.
  • In many cases, expertise is sufficient to produce a formulation when the components of the sample are simple and readily available.
Studying the availability of ingredients

In the event that the detected components of the sample are specialised chemicals, or are not sold in their pure form, or a cursory search on the Internet fails to find suppliers, we will help you.

We will find in what form the components can be purchased (as part of which product they are sold), find specialised suppliers and quote them. All you have to do is select and purchase the components for making prototypes or making a batch of the product.

Production of experimental samples

In cases where the product is complex, multi-component, and simple mixing of components cannot be dispensed with, we will produce a series of test samples for you, which will differ either in the content of components, or in different components or by another criterion.


The cost of the first stage - examination of the composition (decoding) - is calculated individually, depending on the initial characteristics of the sample, the number of questions to be answered and the required working time of the experts. Expertise is a time-consuming and complex process, so the cost of each one starts approximately from 500 euros.


The cost of the following stages (at your request) - studying the availability of ingredients, making test samples, etc. - can be calculated only when the actual composition of the sample is known, i.e. after the first stage.

The cost of these stages can be calculated only immediately before their execution, because to study the availability of ingredients, you need to know the list of ingredients (the first stage), and to make test samples, you need to purchase and receive the ingredients from the laboratory (the second stage).
